Shhhh ... this post is hush-hush! We don't want my human artist Sharolyn to know that we're planning a surprise birthday party for her tomorrow. November 6 is her 60th birthday! Sixty? SIXTY?? We can't believe it! (And neither can she!) She says she's part of the "Forever Young" generation, so she can't possibly be sixty! We think both our human artists will always be forever young ... I mean, that's what having a houseful of cats does for you! Here they are, 57-(no way!)year-old Suzanne on the left and 60-(impossible!)year-old Sharolyn on the right:
We overheard her saying that she didn't want a big fuss made (At her age, it could be too much for her!). She doesn't even want gifts from her family -- just money, so she can pay her daughter Tiffany's airfare home from Italy and be with her at Christmas. But we can't let this momentous occasion go by with no fanfare whatsoever, so ...

Fracas is whipping up 60 different flavors of niptinis, Lucy and Callie are baking a 60-layer chocolate tuna birthday cake, and the rest of the staff is keeping Sharolyn out of the house all day so I, Rocky, can decorate the house with my latest signs:

ReplyDeleteNo WAY is she 60! I deal with 60 year olds every day at work (bus passes) and they DO NOT look as glamorous as that!!
I on the other hand think you look like a human and I have disdain for the entire species. Even if it is their birthday.
