Our humans took a walk in the park this morning and, upon arriving back at home, they walked in the door announcing, "Kitties! Come see what we brought! It's Turtle Sundae!" So Fracas and I raced to the door with this image in our minds:

Well, because of what happened next, I've issued a new edict at Artsy Catsy:
"All important announcements shall be made in writing, since visual spelling is essential for clarity."
As you can see, their "Turtle Sundae" oral announcement created a grossly inaccurate image in our minds, because THIS is what we got:
And poor Fracas may never recover from the disillusionment of imagining a Turtle Sundae under his belt and getting THIS instead:
What a cute toy! I bet it gifs good tummy rubs. Do you get to keep it? Yu'll need a BIG water bowl. Now I wanna turtle!
ReplyDeleteOh that turtle is so neat! I bet it smelled really interesting, and would be so much fun to chase!
ReplyDeleteTara
Ha ha ha yes, I agree, those humans need to put any important announcements in writing because that is just cruel. Cruel, I tell you. Honestly, do you want me to phone the rspca because that is cat abuse!
ReplyDeleteDid it taste good?
ReplyDeleteYup, spelling is importint and now mom want a turtle sundae!
ReplyDeleteWOW! That's vary intristing but it duzn't look as yummy as a Turtle Sundae!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a big turtle, but he is really small! I do not think he will taste quite as good as the turtle sundae though.
ReplyDeleteHey that looks like more fun! We have big old Turtles here, you can't even catch 'em if you try. Yours is just the right size to play with it. Although, i think Scout would prefer the ice cream (she's a Dairy Queen).
ReplyDeleteCan yoo eat it?
ReplyDeleteAdd a little chocolate syrup, a few nuts, some whip cream...and wallaa! A turtle sunday!
ReplyDeleteUmmm they brought home a turtle on Sunday. That is not a turlte sundae at all. Not fair to tease the kitties.
ReplyDeleteI got a turtle myself, but she is too big to put on me~!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your turtle friend~!
Ha ha ha ha! Do you get to keep him?
ReplyDeleteYes, word play is not fun. We understand it one way and our Mom's and Dad's mean it another way. Cute little turtle though.
ReplyDeleteYour Fl furiends,
Samantha & Tigger
ooooh...you sure got a raw deal ~ that turtle is very cute though :)
ReplyDeletewow, that really is a turtle - does he bite? FAZ
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute turtle! It is very tiny!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the writing part-that wasn't funny!
ReplyDeleteHm... my human was just getting hungry for the first photo when she saw the second. Personally, not being a big ice cream fan, I quite liked the second!
ReplyDeletewe gots 2 of those swimmin' in a big wreck-tangle fulla water all the time. ours are HUGE an got no problem wif bitin' you unless yur our Lady. we can shure see how gettin' one of those things when yur thinkin' ::mmmmmm:: ice cream would be a HUGE MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!
ReplyDeleteCool! I think the new little friend could be lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteLatte
What a strange thing! It sure doesn't look very edible, that's for certain!
ReplyDeleteWe just discovered this post today!
ReplyDeleteThat turtle with the legs looks a lot different than that sweet tasty creation above. Poor Fracas.
