Seven Weird Things About Us

Rocky: I've been tagged by Feline Talk to reveal "7 Weird Things About Me" but, since Artsy Catsy is a group effort, I'm going to let some of my staff participate with me in this meme.

7 Weird Things About Us:

1) Rocky: I bite for no reason whatsoever. My humans say this is because I was only 1 day old when I was rescued, and since I was bottle-fed and had no siblings, I didn't learn from a mamacat not to bite hard, and didn't learn proper social behavior from siblings.

2) Fracas: I talk ALL the time! When I was rescued as a kitten from underneath a truck where I had been riding around screaming all day, I lost my voice completely for two weeks. So now I have to test it continually to make sure it's still there.

3) Rocky: I still like to hit the bottle now and then. When my human fills a kitten bottle with KMR, my pupils dilate, I drool, and curl up in her lap and nurse.

4) Callie: I never had kittens of my own, so I have litters of rolled-up pairs of socks that I move from place to place throughout the house while making loud, gargling, yowling sounds.

5) Rocky: I'm the alpha cat here, and I'm not afraid of anything ... except riding in the car, the oven door, invisible things on the couch, the hair dryer, the vacuum cleaner, a dry navy bean dropped on the floor ....

6) Fracas: The very tip of my tail kinks at a right angle.

7) Holly: I stand on my hind legs all the time, in perfect meercat posture.
