To help the Rescue Farm with their wonderful work, I've hereby proclaimed that Saturdays on my blog will be "Adopt-a-Caturday" and will feature Rescue Farm kitties looking for a home. May I present our first featured kitty ....Misti
Misti is a beautiful 6-month-old girl kitty who was abandoned when her humans moved away and left her alone in the house. She was so lonely and hungry when Jodi rescued her! But she's so happy now that she loves to snuggle and purrrr and play. Sweet Misti is a perfect kitty who loves other cats, kids and even woofies!
She has been spayed, vaccinated, wormed, flea-treated and is negative for Felv/FIV, and her adoption fee is $60. If you, or someone you know, would like to give Misti a furever home, just email Jodi at the Rescue Farm!

I think Adopt-a-Caturday is a great idea! Misti is very beautiful.

Misti is furry purrty. People leavin like that is how Pepi and Gree came to lif wif us. I hopes Misti finds a home reely soon (wif someone else hehehe)

That's a grate ideer. We feel sad when we see all the poor abandoned or mis-treated kitties. We hope pretty Misti soon gets a wunnerful furrever home.

ReplyDeleteMarlene, one of our staff, also works with abandoned kitties and dogs at the Dutch animal protection organisation, she loves this idea to make Saturday a Forever home day for all those wonderful cats which were not so fortunate in their life!

Charlotte asks me to say 'mieow' to Misti and hopes that she finds a good home soon. Charlotte shudders at the thought of abandonment/adoption because she was a twice-abandoned kitty herself.
