The suspect in the Rocky disguise is a young white male with ginger spots. He is an alleged habitual user of cuteness to lure unsuspecting moms, then he kittynaps them! He is considered to be pawed and dangerous! Tigger, you must set up a stakeout at PetSmart and apprehend this heinous imposter before he steals into my home and cat burglarizes my Temptations and commits mom theft!!Phew, now that Tigger is on the case, I can relax and report some good news. Remember Yogi, the Rescue Farm kitty we first featured on Saturday Adopt-a-Caturday? Yogi found a wonderful furever home yesterday at PetSmart (while that fake Rocky was pawing MY mom)! Here he is with his loving new beans:

But Punkin, this week's featured kitty, didn't find a furever home yesterday. Jodi from the Rescue Farm says it's hard to find homes for polydactyl kitties :-( My mom tried to convince a literature teacher at PetSmart to adopt Punkin -- after all, he is a Hemingway cat -- but she chose another kitty instead. Poor Punkin, this was his first day at PetSmart, and he didn't like it very much:
He just huddled in his cage and smashed his face against the glass (while that phony Rocky held MY mom hostage!) I hope Punkin finds a furever home soon ... and Tigger puts that fraudulent Rocky on the Feline Bureau of Investigation's Most Wanted List and gets him out of circulation ASAP!!!Be sure to check out all this weekend's catness:

Right, it's OK, Rocky. All the attention in that photo is going to go on your MOM! 'Cause she published her age when she had her birthday (though my mom doesn't believe her) and she looks so fantastic, that no one will be looking at the kitten. :)
And besides, no one could ever replace you as you are too well known, too hard working and far too lovable.
There you go, case closed.
I think da key word here is TRYING to steal yoor mom. I have found dat mom's are pretty loyal to der mancats...~Speedy
Why is it hard to find homes for Hemming cats? My Bean and I think they are cool! It's not like you have to buy shoes for them, and the extra claws don't equate to more shred damage to the furniture.
Having extra toes would be good. Think of how much easier it would be to type.
A Rocky impersonator?! That is amazing! No one could impersonate the Rock!!!!

The mini-Rocky does look a lot like you! Our mom says he's very cute, so we can see that he is clearly a danger! We are glad that Yogi found a Forever Home and hope that Punkin finds one soon.

Rocky, we thought that was you with your mom when we first saw those photos! He sure does look a lot like you. However, like Speedy says, mom's are pretty loyal to their mancats.
It's great news that Yogi found his forever home. It was a bit of a rough day for Punkin though - hopefully he'll find some more understanding people to take him home soon.

Why is it hard to find homes for polydactyl kitties? More toes is good in case of frostbite.

I hope Punkin finds a home soon. Mommy thinks kitties like that are very special so doesn't understand why beans don't want them. Of course, lotsa beans don't like black kitties either so go figure.

Rocky, our Mom says not to worry, because Moms always love their bambinos! But we have to admit, it is shameful the way she flirts with other kitties. (Our Mom flirts with other kitties, too.)
All three of us are graduates of PetSmart, so we feel a special kinship to other PetSmarties! We will purr and purray for Punkin that he finds a furrever home soon.

Boy, that cat sure does look like you, Rocky. I don't think your mom would let herself be taken in by the imposter's charm. That is terrific news about Yogi and hopefully Punkin will soon find a forever home too.
